Just found a set of NOS upholstery for my 1963 Ford Country Sedan 9 passenger wagon . What are the odds of that ? my exact color and pattern . In the process of recovering them , so far so good . I will probably have a pro do the front bench , it needs some help , the foam is pretty worn out . I am doing the split secound row seat myself . The third row seat just needs a small repair that can be made with some fabric from the old seat covers . Never thought in a million years I would find these seat covers . Just goes to show , never give up looking for that rare part you need .

Wow, that is amazing! Love it! I fondly remember the day I found NOS in the Ford box the upholstery for my '61 Falcon Deluxe, and the '63 Falcon Sedan Delivery.

That's awesome! I just picked up an NOS dash pad for my '67 Mercury Commuter a couple weeks ago. I couldn't believe there were any floating around.

    Gratz again!

Excellent! I have no plans of replacing upholstery, but not sure I could hold back if I found an NOS, exact color set.

Yesterday I ran the engine from a gas can.....runs, needs a enima though:biglaugh:

Sunday I went to visit "The Old Man of the Mountain" and dug through, no BS, thousands of hubcaps in his private yard. Took a whole bunch of singles home and let Deb pic. She liked these, so my friend Eric dropped off the other three and picked up the rest. Kinda funny, him and I were BS'n and came to realize that in all the 20+ years we have know each other every single car, truck, or van I've owned has has at least one part from him:)

Deb's choice, I believe they are 74? LTD.....Deb also wants to keep white walls on the wagon.

Garden hose fresh...Not show, but good driver quality

seems like i am a glutten for punishment. when the rad started to leak i replaced it and at the same time added electric fans, i had a line strip in the rad so no big deal as i already had an aux cooler for the trans. well driving down the road the line blew off and coated everything with tranny fluid. i'm talking ruined brakes pads on the front wheels . well while it was down i added rack and pinion steering. what a nightmare .we couldn't fit the alignment heads on the whitewalls so i had to change the wheels to fit. somehow the alignment was so bad i couldn't even drive it but had to get it towed. just paid for my hagerty roadside assisstence for the price of the tow. anyway this is how it looked going on the truck. now i just gotta swap the wheels back and i'll let you know how it goes

Due to a pretty bad year with a lot of personal problems i havent had time or energy to visit this great community at all for far too long. However i bought myself a vintage trailer to fit behind the mighty one. Have been cruising around in all sweden from far south to the far north, working a little, and just enjoyed the company of my dog and the freedom of being homeless.. As you can see i hav had a lot of time to buff and polish the car, and i am pretty satisfied with most of the finish now..

For the next season i would love to have new weaterstripping, and maybe some new wheels. Can anyone of you give me some tips where i can find at least the window seals both outside and inside?

Well, 2low, I am truly sorry for your problems. It sounds like you are maybe alone now and that is always a painful and lonely turn of events. I have thought about you often and am glad to see you again. I love the trailer and I have always loved the wagon! Unfortunately, weather stripping for wagons is almost an impossibility to find as far as I know. I'm hoping some one will chime in here and prove me wrong. There are threads here that address the problem. Do a little searching and you will likely find them.
Anyway...it sure is great to hear from you again. Please stick around and don't be gone again for so long.

Tedy: Are the wheel covers that came with the wagon say Mercury Motor Division or Meteor? If they say Mercury, they aren't original. If they say Meteor, they are RARE!
