Congrats Marshall. I am so glad it finally made it home safe and sound. If the pictures show a dirty car I can only imagine what it will look like all shiny and clean. It is gorgeous! I know it's been a long process, but I think it was well worth it. I couldn't be happier for you.

Floats! Been a while since I've driven a big full-frame vehicle like this. Actually feels very safe in wet conditions - even more secure than the HHR.
After driving it about 15 minutes, I remembered your comment on the seats. I think a trip to an auto upholstery shop is in my future - or at least a good look underneath the seat to see if anything can be fixed. Butt was pretty sore when I got home.

Nice pictures!! Glad to see you finally have it in your garage I hope you enjoy it for a long time to come. I'm picking up my 91 Olds in about a hour, so I'll be cleaning on it this weekend, if it isn't too cold.

The Safari had to stay parked in the garage all day today while I used the HHR to do some work. Wifey left stranded. The Safari doesn't have any plates on it. Going to the DMV right now.....

Back from the DMV with some plates. Wanted to get some color-coordinating personalized plates, but that extra $$ is better spent on the wagon itself.

And good news - no smog check or vehicle inspection required here. I can do whatever I want.

Good luck KK. That is a great looking wagon. Winter seems to have arrived a day early most places.
Drive it a lot tomorrow before the world ends. :yahoo:

Oh, you haven't noticed the headliner? He did mention that part of it was coming down. Shag weighs a lot. Hard to keep it glued to the old headliner????:rofl2:

KK - that must have been a killer being unable to use it until end of the day. So, what does the family think of it?

You can go for a Christmas Day cruise to somewhere neat.
