Wonder if it's a good deal. I have been offered a '92 Buick road master. White with wood. 75K miles one owner, for $2750. I could really use a second running vehicle just in case but I can't really afford to spend $2750 in the middle of a divorce! UGGH! I always find good stuff when I cant afford it!:banghead3:

Sounds like a nice car indeed...sorry to hear about your marriage ending. Seems like I always find something I want when I'm broke too...passed up a 68 Charger R/T about a year ago, a project my buddy was giving up on and needed fast cash, $2000.00, I could kick myself now. Needed mild body work and paint.

    Never been divorced-----yet!:)
But sure can understand the deals at the wrong times. My advice would be not to buy anything until all the paperwork is signed and dry!
Then you will only need one car anyway.:slap:
The wagon sounds like it could be a good buy....Maybe at around $2000. They'll always go down. Hopefully it will still be avalable after you are single again.

Buy it now and it may wind up going to your wife in the divorce since it's not finalized yet. :slap:

    Better wait.

The car is in really good shape. Minor peeling on a couple of edges of the wood. If I can't buy it without paying for most of it out of pocket I wont buy it. Probably the most frustrating thing is I have more than enough money to buy it outright but that is money I will have to give to her in about 4 weeks so if I spend $2500 or so of it now then I would just have to borrow to make up that difference! UGH! Torture I tell ya!

I have talked myself in and out of buying this car at least a half a dozen times this weekend. Right now my thinking is if I can spend $2750 on this car why don't I spend it on my '68 instead. $2750 would go a LONG way on that project!

Offer 2500$ for it and then put it in a friend's or family member's (yours) name until the dust settles. 75K on one of these is super low miles...hope ya get it! BTW, love your moniker! One of my top 5 fav. movies ever!!

The terms of the divorce are settled and signed. It will be final in about 3 weeks so she cant really go after half of anything at this point. The reason the divorce is a problem in buying the wagon is my nest egg $ is GONE. I have to pay her a lump sum 10 days after the deal is final so I cant really buy the wagon without borrowing the $ and I am VERY against borrowing money these days!
