Maybe, but more likely the owner has problems with rust around the spokes of the wire wheels.........

Problems with the wire wheels wouldn't happen to all 4 tires at once. Most likely, someone let the air out of the tires. There is a rubber bladder that protects the tire tube from the spokes, and they work very well. I have never had a problem with my wire wheels, except for finding a replacement bladder. Now, I use duct tape to cover the spoke heads to protect the tube. Unfortunately, finding the old size tires and tubes is getting to be difficult.

Don't blame the KIDS. It was the little girl all alone during the night. Look at her left arm. She's still hiding the ice pick next to her leg.
I learned long ago, ya just can't trust little girls----------- of any age!

As for the spokes poking holes in the tubes. On my Model A's and Model T's there was a narrow rubber band around the rim. We used old inner tubes cut about 4" wide. On my Austin Healey Sprite there were some kind of similar things.
Mostly it was little girls poking holes in tires. ;)

I think it was a bigger girl (wife) who saw the MG parked in front of the wrong house. :oops:mg:

... or hotel... motel... "How was the [out of town] business meeting, honey?" (wife is holding a half eaten pie and the biggest, sharpest, pointiest, not meant for pie cutting-iest, knifiest knife in the house)

That's just what they want you to think. To think that you think that you know how they think. Think about it.
