    I have a 99% mint grill for one of these also.... never owned one, don't know where or when I got it, had since my teens I think. When I had the dunpster in the drive way my labour threw it out!:mad:.... I made him climb in and get it!:yup:

    I would try and get it running than go from there, If it doesn't run than swap the frame.

    I did the MMO thing on a 69 396 - worked great! [sat for 5 years]
    After a cam change and a valve job, went 110 in the 1/4.
    Sold that motor for $900 and never had the pan off - 31 years ago!!

    That thing looks clean! I think it would be a shame to destroy such a straight car in order to get to the frame. (I know that worse things have happened) If it were me, I'd try and get it running and then sell it to finance the frame repairs on the 66. just my two cents.

    not even sure if we sell it up here:slap:...but i'll look(y)

    I know Orth....im torn....i keep thinking that i will pull its frame for the 66...then fix the 66's frame to put back in the 68....:idea:
    ..mind ya...I dont have time to clean the garage..:biglaugh:so not sure about that plan:oops:

    Even if the motor turned out to be a bust, it still looks like it is worth saving.

    They don't sell it up here, something to do with causing cancer? Not sure.... anyway, a quick trip across the line will land you some! I have some in my garage.:2_thumbs_up_-_anima
