I smoke Marlboro reds myself. No plans on quitting either. They've orwellinized smoking so much it almost seems taboo to be a tobacco smoker. Unfourtunately when states can't balance the budget the cigarettte smokers take the fall for it. 40 billion bucks in the red no problem, we will just raise the tax on cigarettes by 5 dollars. Make the voters think we care about peoples healtth and we will get more tax money.

Well, now, I've missed a lot here. For some reason I had to sign in again to get on the forum. Someone forgot my magic password code or wrote my looser name---user name---incorrectly. Been since yesterday desciphering things to get back on line or in line.
So I have not prescribed or subscribed to anything lately. I mostly just lurk and learn.
This is enough to cause me to take up smoking!
That's nuther thing. Smoking costs a lot. Then what happens to all those $100 bills I don't spend on smoking? I don't do drugs or drink hard liquer. But that's another thing I may start if I keep having internet sign in problems!
My only real addiction is old cars, trucks, motorcycles, and those long roofed wagons. I've tried to stop. But I get nervous and cranky when I am away from them long. So quit buggin me.
Glad to be back even though most of you didn't even know I was gone.

I still have three (edit, nope, four) cartons of Winstons left and 5 packs of those 25s and 3 packs of the Newport reds from the one carton I bought in SC for like $29. And we've been home for a month now. I guess that means I smoke 2 packs every 3 days? Sounds about right, 13-15 per day...

I smoke American Spirit Yellows, expensive, about 8.00 a pack average. Takes me about 2 and half days to smoke a pack. No chemicals added to these just natural tobacco...nice and mellow.

I don't blame you Alan, Utah is lame, everything that's "bad" for you is expensive. Booze, smokes, sex...etc.

I bought a pack of smokes today and they were 7 dollars and change. Geesh. I never really paid attention to what they cost, because I always buy them when I buy gas, but ran out before the gas did this week. Didn't realize they were over 5. I'm living in the past!
