I can't believe I've missed this thread for so long! Here's my "other" car, a '67 Buick Electra Convertible that I've a had for almost 10 years. I should also note the white '81 Pontiac Parisienne in the background bought new by my uncle. It's the clone of Cyber-Wizard's car posted a couple of pages back! I've also been distracted recently by a certain "german mistress" but this will be a fleeting infatuation!
i know, dont mind me, sometimes i dont have the best come backs to sarcasm, so i dont know what to say, so i reply to sarcasm alot with non-sarcastic responses and sound stupid, so ya you'll here that alot from me hahahahahah

It wasn't so nice in 1990, I gave $50.00 for it, then sold the 258 for $200.00 A lot of parts I horded over the years went into fixing it. In fact I bought it as a parts car, but it was a rust free north east car, so the car I was building became the parts car.
I was out scouting around a few weeks back and found this. Loved it so I made an offer and bought it. A girl in San Francisco had it and she lost intrest in it. Its a 1962 Buick Skylark in primo condition. I just bought bootleg freeon R12 so after it warms up some I plan to redo the factory air conditioning in it.
Cool little 62 Skylark. A few of the convertibles were preserved on the east coast, but I haven't see a coupe in probably more than 20 years. Is is a post sedan or a pillarless hardtop? I don't know if those early Skylark 2 doors were even available as a pillarless hardtop. Maybe they were all post sedans.
I had just got a 42 Buick 4 door speical, got it home even. I got the straight 8 in it up and running, it was coughing and sputtering but it did fire up. Not a week later some guy showed up at my door asking about it. He made me an offer I couldnt refuse and got this Buick. Its a 62, 2 door. The back windows have no post. But its a vinyl top, not a convertable. I just found a job a few months ago so I had a little money to spend and stumbled on the car. Its got factory ac and runs great. Not a lick of rust on it, which is amazing since the San Francisco fog and salt air usually does cars in.
Those little Buick Specials are cool. Very similar to the '63 Olds F-85 Cutlass I had for my first car. Yours probably has the 215 aluminum V8, which is a great engine if kept in good shape. Preferably it has the 4-barrel carb.
