Just a few comments on some of the recent picture posts....


So that's what happened to my dad's '66 Caprice after he traded it in....


Don Steves Chevrolet was in La Habra, California, at the very east end of Whittier Blvd. Unfortunately, he was one of the dealers that lost their GM franchise in the gubament takeover a few years ago. I believe the dealership still operates as large used-car lot now.


This one puzzles me. I'm sure it's from a movie or TV show. Why are those people sitting on the cab - in traffic?


From what I remember about this one, I think it's a 'home-built' custom job, not a concept vehicle built in Detroit. Notice the (mostly) Corvair parts used. The headlamp assemblies are from a '63 Pontiac. Kinda cool, IMO.


This was probably from the mid to late 60's. Anybody recognize the custom wagon, upper right in photo?

 

Kinda looks like a Barris creation to me...? Not a clue what the car is?
