Got that airbed patched yet? I'm getting sleepy

That question was for Xavier, the man with the holey air mattress.

    !
:camera: This was good news. Since it's been so hot and dry you've had plenty of time to work on the interior of the Shwag? :camera:
:yahoo:This was for dewey who has been avoiding us lately.

    Yea right! For the pets!!!!!!!!!:rofl2:
When our central AC unit kept running out of charge we bought a large window unit and put it in the back side living room window. Close all three bedrooms and this thing does a good job. Have small units like CE in the bedrooms. Rarely use any at night. Just open the bedroom doors and some windows. So far for over 10 years it's been cool. This was gonna be temp till we got new furnace and AC. Hey, it works!
On the plus side, our electric bill seems to be less than half others we know. No pets but makes me wag my tail and stop slobering.:rofl2:

They needed it, they're 12 and 13 and looked like they were at death's door. I would have never forgiven myself if they died in the heat.

It's just for the bedroom, 5,000 BTU. Nothing fancy, but it was the last one they had at the store and at least I can sleep comfortably. It's hotter out here at the computer, though!

We have that same unit from Wally World in the son's old bedroom. Never been used yet since he left.
I'll bet small window AC's are selling as fast as they go on the shelves.
I remember camping in Wisconsin. At first didn't think it would be hot up there compared to Illinois. Even the giant mosquetos sweat.

Good on ya, CE. :tiphat: I understand as a pet parent of 4 it just kills you to see them suffer.

Thanks! It is tough to watch Earl and Randy suffer. Thankfully, it's a bit cooler today, middle 80's.

Wisconsin's known for Mosquitoes and where my folkses cabin is is known for Wisconsin's worst Mosquitoes lol

Haven't been avoiding you two, just a busy busy guy lately. Interior is progressing slowly I will get some pics up pretty soon, just wanted something more impressive than total destruction.

I was in our local WalMart Bros store today and was surprised, they still have quite a few units in stock as hot as it's been around here.

As I wrote before YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN NOT HIDE. So avoiding us would be useless.:whew:
With the heat, life, work, honeydoes, and other things our projects don't always get worked on. Keep after it and I'll try to get those other guys to stop pickin on you!:rofl2:
