Thats too bad. I was hoping you'd get that one. Here is the one I was telling you about: http://yakima.craigslist.org/ctd/3078877494.html $1995 seems like a purty good price.
And....there's always this one....you probably could have paid someone to build it the way you want it for what I thought it would go for. It's my opinion that the dealer is running up the price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1962...9115808?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item20c716d520
Fox, Your statement doesn't match the ebay ad does it? $1695 currently? Looks like it could be a goodie! No reserve
Part of the fun is the hunt isn't it? With your knowledge of cars in general and a couple of years under your belt deciding what you actually want to end up with should lead to one heck of a wagon when you pull into the driveway with your new toy. This is exciting. Sad news of course on the other one, but now we get to look at a whole bunch of new options.
I found this Buick on CL, I'm going to look at it today. http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/3088304345.html There is a '97 Sable nearby, but after the CP its hard for me to get very excited about a Taurus/ Sable. I cant find a CP or Squire anywhere in my area. Krash, that black Ford wagon looks good, whats wrong with it?
Whatever you do, PB, do not settle for a Sable/Taurus (except maybe a 2000-up Sable LS, which I like...) When my '84 CP burned up, we ended up with a '89 Taurus GL wagon - hated that thing. As a result, didn't keep it that long. As to the black '65, just not excited about it. OrthmannJ's going to be looking at it though.....
Well, that's quite a nice unit. Just not for me. Seeing it, I remembered something. As we were leaving a car show a few weeks ago, we noticed a Checker sedan arriving at the show. Obviously owned privately, looked restored. Had an interesting personalized license plate on it...................................................... 'CHUBBY'
