#%&#@@^ Teenaged girls and their G$%###@ Cellphones!

Well, after running like a top for 25 years, the Mercruiser was mauled by a teenaged girl driving an SUV.
I ras making a left turn as she was passing a long line of stopped traffic in the bicycle/ right turn lane, and T boned me as the drivers of the stopped cars waved me through.
No skid marks.
At least no one was injured, and the little #$%%$ got a ticket.
Both insured drivers are with State Farm, thanks for a little bit of good luck.


State farm is not going to enjoy this claim, I can promise you that.

$125 each They are tan for base color, but that doesn't really matter.
They've got the quarter panel, too ($250), but you really only need the moldings - quarter appears repairable.

Just a thought - they probably have the whole side - you'll need the entire B pillar.

That. Sucks. Majorly. So sorry to see this, but glad you are ok. I find that most of my road rage wrath is aimed towards people with their damn phone against their head. Glad she got cited.

Thanks Krash for jumping right in to help. I'm almost afraid to drive the 8 or 9 miles into our town after all these wagon encounters. This is sad.

It is illegal in British Columbia to use hand held devices while driving - distracted driving. I see half a dozen every day, actually every time I drive. The penalty is not significant enough, under $200, to scare people off. So they drive and chat and smack in to things and then they get the message. Too late, and often not for very long.

I'm so sorry your wagon got smacked. It is so disappointing to see this happen, thankfully no one was hurt physically. I know the mental anguish at seeing your beauty in such disrepair.
