:rofl2:Hi fannie. You have to buy paint at American Wal-Mart stores to find that on the labels. But it's written in Spanish!

As for that comment which was a rib toward Xavier, haven't you noticed when someone looks at an old car they say things much like that about a former family car?

In the 70's, before the addition of the US built Ford Ranger pickups, Ford rebadged the Mazda pickup with a restyled grille as the Ford Courier pickup. Also in the 70's, and into the 80's the Dodge D-50 pickup and (for a short life) the Plymouth Arrow pickup, were rebadged Mitsubishi pickups.
And more recently, in maybe the 90's, the Chevy S-10 pickup could also be found re-badged as an Isuzu.

It took me forever to find this thread... Im thinking food here. I love to eat. I love food and I have a wide variety of dishes that I like. Z and I both love trying new dishes and I was wanting to ask our non American members... What is a meal you like that you would like an american to try. Doesnt matter how strange you think it might be to me. Food is the one thing that all living things have in common. Thanks, -X

I'm an absolute food junkie. My office is in the downtown core and I have a large number of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Most of them know me on sight now:rolleyes: and still more don't even bring me a menu. Food is a really big deal! :)

That being said, I can't think of too many things that are unique to Canada. We have things we're known for like the previously discussed bacons and poutine, maybe that pioneer oddity Bannock, but I don't know of a meal that could be called uniquely Canadian. Unless it's a Harvey's hamburger. Mmmmmm.....burger..[IMG]
Any other hosers here who can contradict me?

I did recently discover this little gem at a nearby 50's style diner called Wimpy's. It's "Breakfast Poutine"
Dollar cut fries, sauteed mushrooms, onions, peppers, and tomatoes, ham or bacon or sausage, covered with two over-easy eggs, and covered again with Hollandaise. I wasn't expecting much, but man-o-man was it good!!

Your welcome. The Trailer Park Boys used to park their cars next door to Hubby's shop, kinda cool. :)

Now let's try some of that breakfast poutine. :p
