    RE: The Sbarro TAG

Mark & Jarius, your unofficial opinions as designers please...

Would it have been better looking if the rear wheel opening had been level instead of sloped with the body sill line? For some reason that part annoys me...

If you don't mind me chiming in as well......

I see what you mean. Hadn't noticed that before. I agree with you though - looks ungainly. Should have mimicked the front wheel opening instead....

Sbarro's designs have always been 'out there'.........

Best part about this one IMO is the part that's still a Cadillac......

I agree completely. The rear wheel opening should have been level. The design given makes me feel unsafe about it. I would even go so far as to say that it could have worked with a arched look going over each whell instead. With the design it has now I kind of feel that some one tried to make a luxury/business military vehicle.

Although my opinion was never asked for....I think it would have been better looking if it had never been built!:D

Looks like something George Barris had created for a saturday morning space adventure but that doesn't answer the question.
Yes, the wheel opening might look better parallel to the ground but I bet calculating how the weight would be distributed with
the added material and then people, it was impossible to determine what that parallel would be. Personally, I hate tandem
duals on passenger cars anyway. The way it follows the slope of the quarters make it look like the massive roof is causing
the rear to droop, like a plastic toy held under a magnifying glass. No sir, don't like it. Waste of a perfectly good Eldorado...
(let's not even discuss the met. pea green paint...)

    Hey... you asked...
