I remember that story. I remember reading that she was very upset that Buddy Ebsen wouldn't consent to publicly endorse her when she asked him. I also remember reading that they had virtually opposite political views (she being very liberal and Ebsen being much more conservative), so his refusal and his support for her competitor really shouldn't have come as a such a shock to her. I'm sure Ebsen must have known her pretty well and the thought of having her in power in Congress must have scared him pretty good for him to actually campaign for her opponent.
'Grease' - part of it shot at my old high school.. Never saw this movie, and I'm glad...this really creeps me out.... Probably my favorite 'movie car'..... Does anybody notice what's wrong with this prop Dodge? I think this was pretty creative turning a Chevy Silverado P/U into a van-thingy.....
