OOhhh! If I had the money... And I already had a wagon or 2 (or more)... Thanks for remembering that I really like these. I love the Toronado!
Of all the crappy cars my mom and dad owned over the years, they had this identical Toronado later. I never got to ride in it! Same color and all.
Maybe this is it. Better snap it up! No one bought it yet. He had it up as a sale only....no bids, no offers. Offer him 50 bucks.....see if he'll take it!
Couldn't be---or could it. Dad didn't drive or even open the hood of our cars often. Mom drove and had gas pumped. They didn't believe in oil or antifreeze changes. They always bought a car with it already in there and didn't figure there was a need to check, change, or add. Wouldn't let my brother or I touch their cars. The engine was smoking and sounding funny when my brother sold it after Mom died. I still don't know how we got interested in cars and wagons?????????? Naw, it can't be the same one! But I'd give $50. $500? $$5000? Yep!
Don't get me wrong Fox, I have seen many Toronado's just never that particular model. Looks like something a pimp would be rollin'.
Fox I get the feeling you're a stone cold pimp too, with a name like Silverfox you almost have to be.
Yup, I can just see it now.... Mike wearing sun glasses, Zebra coat with red velvet, gold chains, gold tooth, blue feathers in his hat................ ......... ... He's gona F'n kill me!
You know, I drove and rode in a few different Riv's of the same vintage but never one of these Toro's............we had a couple customers that had them but never got a chance to ride/drive them.
Well.....I was SORT of a pimp when I ran the nude clubs in LA. One in Hollywood and one in Englewood. Had 26 girls working for me. Never had so much fun in all my life! Those girls were a trip!
silverfox, we are finding out more about you everyday! You amaze me. And the fact you are only 43 years old makes it all the more amazing how you've done so much! I like the second unretouched original photo better!
