You mean the Doc's car, not RK drooling, right! Homer is the new icon! To think a Canadian is one of the head writers too. ;)

Hey Doc, did the patient survive? :biglaugh:

I wanted to plug that in yesterday, but I had other priorities - like beating the thunderstorm to get my interior finished. :)

Super job on your wagon. :thumbs2:

Gotta love those old FE heads and rockers! Note they are higher flowing 64 heads and we put in a bigger cam!

What are you doing for induction, based on those heads? This is getting real interesting...

    Hal,

We are really not doing much other than stock. I just went up slightly with the cam...mild...and the heads..well that is the way the shop builds the 390 for the passenger car. We should be around 300 hp..but i decided for multiple reasons to stick with the original intake and 2bbl carb..it was not an easy decision. Should have excellent throttle response.

    Get a 4bbl!
My dad had a 390 in a '68 LTD Brougham, and man it was hot! And it still got great mileage too, over 25 on the highway.
And electronic ignition too, I hope. DS2!

Thanks for the suggestion but this is going to be a light driver for my wife. It will have plenty of power.
What I do need is the original air intake for it if anyone has a 66-67 let me know.

Finding a numbers matching factory intake might be near impossible? But a Edelbrock flows a little better than factory if you just get the basic intake.
