    OK, the taxi looks like a wagon, but what is it? It isn't a checker. Looks kind of like an mid 50s Chrysler maybe?

    I believe it's a Desoto - maybe around a 1950 or so.....pretty old for a taxi in 1957.

    A few years ago, my neighbor bought one of these trailers.
    Same model and color combo, in really nice original condition.
    Just needed a cleanup and new tires.

    He stripped the original paint off, and repainted it two-tone Orange and Beige.
    While an Orange/Beige two-tone looks great in my dining room, it doesn't work at all on the trailer. :disagree:
