    I'm like a fat kid in a candy store looking at that picture - "I want one of those, one of those, one of those....."

    Settle down fatboy, those cars are hazardous to your health! We, the auto industry, know what you like and want. Take this round blob, it's good for you!:rofl2:

    Hey, that's "Crown Point" lookout at the top of the Columbia Gorge which runs between Oregon and Washington state!

    Thanks, I wondered where that was. I like this photo.:clap:

    Could the mystery junk yard be beyond those trees?

    Well, not to put too fine a point on it... but they are behind the camera in that picture.
    Actually... here!

    Based on the pictures of the flora and fauna in the background.... it has to be somewhere in the highlighted areas next to a small river. Much of that area gets lots of rain which moss likes.

    Thanks a lot. Silverfox and I should have no trouble hiking that small highlghted area and finding the yard. We'll pack a lunch!:rofl2: Since you seem to be about at the midpoint we'll stop for water now and then!

    Y'all had better pack a mule train and guides, too. "Wagons Ho!"
    (And update your wills before you leave, 'kay?).

    I'm from central Illinois. I know what F & F is. They also sell tires and stuff. I got a few cars retired there. But you will need heavy duty boots for this stroll in the Oregon backwoods. It really ain't Kansas---or Wisconsin.
    I'd still rather drive across the USA than fly in a tiny mixmaster with a glass bubble around me.
    I'm still trying to remember where I heard that those vehicles were crushed and scrapped. Don't want to go on a wild geese chase! There are too many strange members in Oreguuun who might wanna steal parts off our wagons.!:slap:
    :sorry:Are we still on topic?:rant::nohijacking:

    I think someone did mention in one of the threads concerning this yard that they either WERE going to crush them or already had. And....the topic seems to be missing! Unless Jairus FINDS it!:biglaugh::biglaugh:

    And I'm hurt that you didn't ask how Brownee is.
    :(
    AND...flatlanders is what we Wisconsinites CALL people from Illinois.

    That's funny. My wife [from Wisconsin] told me that people from Wisconsin called people from Illinois "Fibs"...
