:rofl2: Yes, you kill me too! :rofl2: As snooterbuckets also wrote, I bought two-door cars because I figured it was one less chance of the kids falling out a rear door. Besides I always thought four doors were ugly!:slap:

Toyota Corolla was available in a 2-door hardtop wagon body style through 1983 in the USA. I love these things. An awesome looking 40mpg runabout car with either 1.6/1.8 engine and the 5-speed and solid low 30s with automatic. That and room for stuff to boot!

I see these everyday here. I don't really consider them a wagon, they are more of a hatchback/liftback to me.

Well this is the Corolla hatchback from that era:

And this is the 4-door wagon:

And my personal favorite bodystyle of the E70 series Corolla...the 2-door hardtop:

The 2-door wagon is not quite as long-roofed as the 4-door wagon but it is a hardtop and that should count for something. Ever seen a hardtop hatchback? I didn't think so :p

Many and so have you, here are just a few of the hundreds of hardtop hatchbacks in existence.

And I said they are a more of a hatchback/liftback to me, as in its my opinion. They will never be considered as a wagon or added to my list of true wagons.

:naughty:For the sake of arguing, none of the above are HARD TOPS ! A hardtop vehicle is one with an open space between the front and rear side windows with the windows lowered. "NO" post! Look inside those above. A post is there, no matter how hard the actual top is.
Reminds me of the first 1955 Chevy two door post I bought. My wife called from across town telling me she found what I've always wanted, a 1955 Chevy 2-door hardtop at a yard sale.
Well, I did buy it. And it did have a HARD top. It was a 2-door post.
And to me very few of these modern vehicles are true station wagons no matter what they are called. Merely hatchback sedans.

Makes no sense to me. Why not just buy a Malibo wagon and customize it rather than waste another perfectly good El Camino:slap:? PS Bad doggies bad!

In the mid-sixties, one of my Uncles used to deliver 'bar supplies' in Lake County, Ill. in a 3-door '59 or '60 Brookwood Wagon!
Have seen pictures, but never another!
Wonder what the production figures were on that?
Left side had a single door - right side had two!
