Happy New Year Wagon Addicts! I'd be surprised to discover that CE doesn't have a Toast-O-Lator. Z and I have decided to just stay in tonight. On my way to pick her up for lunch I and the rest of the traffic following this red pickup stayed well behind. He was swerving all over both east bound lanes... That was around 3:55 PM. On top of that and the other bad, crazy drivers I am having to deal with some more bad allergies brought on by a dry air mass, high winds, and dust. joy. I will feel better when she gets off of work and we can just spend the evening together.
What the heck is a toast-O-lator?:banghead3: Those of you having safe places to celebrate that's wonderful. For us and the rest staying at home, I believe it is a wise move too! As for me and my lovely girlfriend, we may not even make it till midnight and the TV isn't hooked up to watch a stupid ball dropping. Either way, if we wake up it will be 2012. If we don't wake up it will still be 2012. We have nearly a year to have a good time until the next end of the world comes. Someday they will get it right!
If CE doesn't already have a toast o lator, I bet he's out now looking for one after seeing the video, lol! Happy New Year's from beautiful, bucolic Newnan, GA you wagoneers!
Remind me to not sleep when your wife is near. (Almost wrote remind me not to sleep with your wife but that didn't sound right) I'm not going to sleep for a long time. I just wrote maybe we won't stay up till 2012! As long as I can keep my good eye open I'm going to bug people on three or four different sites. As a senior citizen that's my job.
No hangover, two glasses of wine, in bed by 11:00. At work by 8:30 am, not much of a New Years eve, but I'm not complaining. Happy New year everyone.
Yep, another year. Figured I'd better check in. As I told Xavier, that's my job. Wife went to bed around 10PM our time. I deleted all my New Years clocks and things from other sites and was in bed by 10:30PM. Whoppy! Even though we live in the boonies neighbors used to shoot guns and fireworks. Not this year. Apparently we're all gettin older...and wiser. Never heard a thing till early this morning. I'm just asuming it is now 2012 according to the computer and clocks. So we are off to a good start on yet another year. HAPPY NEW YEAR again and hope it is a great one for everyone. PS ---Zoe has a lot to learn!
No one in their right mind should need car parts on New Years day! Of course some wagon owners are out of their minds! And those Kia people!
I know right Cat! Been open 3 hours now and have had maybe 3 customers. Have done a whopping $81.50. The Forum friends is all thats keeping me sane at this point. Thanks guys!
Sanity Sane being a relative term of course...today I just feel the futility of being open. I'm getting off here in a few, think I may pull the wagon out and give her a bath.
It's that warm there? I remember one New years eve in Pokatello loading up a big trailer with some kind of funny little round brown objects. It was coooold then. We snuck across to Alpine Valley in that other state called Wyoming. It was so cold the diesel fuel jelled and our noses turned red in seconds!
It's that warm there? I remember one New Years eve leaving Salty Lake City and wanderin up to Pokatello, Id. for a trailer load of funny lookin small brown things. It was sooo cooold the diesel fuel was jelling with the tank heaters on! That's cold!
