Big family and friend GTG here. Lechon Baboy(whole pig roasted on a spit over charcoal for 8 hours) Fresh fruits locally grown, Fireworks been going on all day and have increased even more since it got dark here almost 2 hours ago. Start drinking in a few hours, have wine, champagne, Local Coconut Rum, Brandy and Redhorse Beer all lined up. Gonna be a good time, it already has been. Best part is, no travel or competing with the other drunks on the other road as its all happening here at Olins dads house and our bed is 15 feet away.

Happy New Year my SWF Family, i hope next year is better then the hell 2011 put me through!

Add 10 years and more per day for me, dennis. I thought I was invincible and could even beat these damnable things. I hate them, too, and have also tried everything. My vascular surgeon told me that smoking as long as I have...I am hooked on nicotine. He said that nicotine is more habit forming than heroin. Well...they finally got me.

New Year's eve is my oldest daughter's birthday so I will probably build a fire outside let the girls roast marshmellows and pop some fireworks. Until about 6 years ago I would have a big party, friends would bring thier campers and we would pretty much party a couple days but the last one we had me and some friends had a little too much to drink, run out of fire wood so we burnt all the lawn furniture...the wife wasn't to happy when she woke up the next morning so my friends can't come over and play anymore for new year's. :biglaugh: Oh yeah everytime I talk about having a party for new years my dad always reminds her, " Remember what those drunk a#$hole's did last time" :drink:

On New Years for us it usually depends on our friends. For a few years now we have been watching a friends kid because their anniversary was on New Years. This year we are supposed to go to another friend's house but aren't sure yet that we will. Zoe has to work until 9 at a liquor store... We might end up sitting at home just watching the teley and drink a few beers, some wine, and then a little champagne.

Hold on. I'm getting a pen... Okay. Will do.

Diabetes actually runs in my family on both sides. Zoe and I have a really healthy diet to be honest. My redneck roommate/landlord and his redneck family make fun of us because we don't eat like them most of the time. Zoe has professional chef experience and can make anything taste like heaven. :yahoo:

About smoking: On average I smoke about half a pack a day. No I don't plan on stopping any time soon unless Zoe gets pregnant. It actually helps me pschologically. We smoke only natural tobacco cigarettes. American Spirits by the Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company. When I smoked anything else I would smoke twice as much. I am not trying to sound preachy and I'm sorry if I have. I just believe that tobacco shouldn't have all those awful chemicals that have been soaked into them for so long...

For you smokers. I really shouldn't be talking. I've never smoked and never wanted to==========But a good friend recently was in hospital and nearly died from smoking way too much since he was a kid. Doc told him stop smoking or die. He quit several months ago and now hates to smell cigarette smoke. Says he still wants one but just stopped cold turkey. Anyone can do it! Just do it! Please!

Cat I am truly jealous of your Florida weather today...75 degrees and a light ocean breeze sounds like heaven today.
