Not always some people's cup o' tea, But I love professional cars and here is a new prototype: The Cadillac XTS Hearse. I admit that I have been less than impressed with many of the hearses that have been produced in the last decade, and even less impressed with the limos. I do however like this one. And the limo to pair it with I think does match well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1nJL2RPRU8
Don't feel bad... 6 is my lucky number. I'd kill to ride in one. But of course that is true of most hearses.
Cadillac's got a new front wheel drive (and opt. AWD) big car coming out called the ATS. There will be a professional platform based off of it.... EDIT: Now that I think of it, those professional car renderings ARE based on the new ATS - not the CTS. I think I saw them over on the GM Inside News forum.
Acording to Google images............ 1st pic in search And this is the 2nd best dressed Canadian car.... 3rd... http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q...urce=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=bt_9TpnLEafYiALS1OSCDQ
They need to do a supercharged 'V' version of this hearse. That way you won't have to refer to the deceased as 'late' anymore.
On a side note... I found this while looking for 2012 model year hearses. I thought that the caption under the photo was cool. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/cadillac-deville-masterpiece-specialty-file Now here is a guy that I can relate to. http://www.caranddriver.com/columns/okay-maybe-its-deaths-door-but-its-a-beautifully-crafted-door This next one really made me think. I haven't read the whole thing yet but I just began to wonder what our beloved funeral coach manufacturers must be going through with the cars that they have been converting for so long suddenly being gone. This also causes me some concern as I have been working on designs of my own for a hearse. We will just have to wait and see I guess. http://www.caranddriver.com/news/2012-lincoln-mkt-hearse-spy-photos-lincoln-mkt-news -X
My urn is going to be transported in my 1955 Chevy wagon. Or is that my urine? Either way, I'm in no hurry! I don't mind being "late" for my funeral. Coincidently, exactly one year ago I was in ICU where I had heart failure. ONE YEAR AGO! Damned late already!!!!
To my loved honey.... Please burn me in the back yard, shovel my ashes into a old bucket and drive me in a FWD mini van to the dump before my last ride is in this Fugly thing.
