Ian, you hijacked your own thread... :rofl2:Your title "
swf official canada-usa-world relations thread" and then you start with military vehicles? hmmm...;)

I just read that we are now rated as more corrupt and manipulative in our mining and oil deals, than last year. I'm not surprised since we're governed by "The Pirates Of The Canadian", tax bums.

    We have ingenious snowblowers:

And... now that our dear Pirates are pulling out of any Climate control treaties like Kyoto, we still have some gorgeous parts of the country that aren't date-stamped to turn to crap.

I am not impressed with our Prime Minister's Canada. I loved the one I grew up in. This one sucks.:banghead3:

That's a weird one for us too.

What the US Folk refer to as "Canadian Bacon" is what Canadians think of as "Back Bacon". It's a much thicker cut of meat and is sometimes a little tougher than ham. Depending upon where you ask what US folks are sometimes thinking of can also be what Canadians refer to as "Peameal Bacon".

The bacon we all know (and love) is usually cut from pretty down low on the pig. Ever hear about rising "Pork Belly" prices? That's bacon.

Back Bacon or Canadian Bacon is cut from higher up and is much more akin to Pork Tenderloin. In the US it would likely be referred to as "Smoked Pork Loin".

Peameal Bacon is back bacon that has been brined and then rolled in cornmeal. It is often cut a little bit thicker than Back Bacon and can sometimes be a little tougher despite the brining process.

Ham, of course, is really more of a pig butt-cheek and that's universal goodness no matter what country you're from.

    ...man I love bacon!

What do Canadians call this delicious pork product?

Down here, we call it BACON.
    Thats pronounced BAY- KIN.
    :D
For the Aussies, it comes from the pig belly.
    Thats pronounced PAIG.
    :D

Nobody in the WORLD loves bacon more than I do!!
And, of course, I'm not supposed to eat it.
There have been times that I ate a pound of bacon in one sitting....with half loaf of toast and 6 eggs. Those days are gone, unfortunately!

    OK, Fannie.
Please translate "sticky" into USA speak.
    'Cause in my mind......:yippee:
    Ahem.
    Which brings up another question:
Is it too cold in Canada to have sex? :cold:

    Question #1:

I'll try to explain, but first get your mind back to the forum...ready?

A sticky is a permanent thread at the beginning of most topics on this forum. Such as, when you go to the Welcome Wagon topic and click on it, the first thread is a "Sticky". Usually has helpful hints to help you with that topic.

    Question #2:

    No!

I take my bacon very seriously. I know that back bacon has long been a mystery to our neighbours to the south. Heck it was a mystery to me for years. Bacon should really be a universal language. :)

My Dad and I used to do that when camping. Used to drive Mom crazy when she found all of the eggs and bacon gone.
