:Welcome:Brian, That car is almost a twin to Stormin Norman's Fairmont. Same color. If you look at some of his posts his Fairmont is part LTD, Mustang, Zephyr etc, etc. He has lots of cool mods including power windows that came from another fox and the 302 to I6 conversion he did 5 or so years ago.

Yeah, I wish I knew how to cast a big Zorro "Z"! She's too classy to call her a Ford Fox Mongrel, and zippy enough to scoot. Zorro IV or Zorro V - she's got parts from at least 5 other Fox models! Even a 1980 Fox T-Bird, and a 1986 Mercury Cougar. And a 1980 Lincoln Versaille (Granada base though). :rofl2:

Thanks for letting me know. This is gonna be fun to see this project go ahead! :thumbs2:

Welcome Brian. We're two wagon guys up here in our cold prairies, and both HandyAndy and I will be glad to chirp in and help out. Lookin' forward to this one! :thumbs2::cheers::Welcome:

    Wecome.:)

I agree that wagon people really do hear a different drummer drumming.
Never the twixt shall meet with the trunked vehicle people.:)

You need to paint it with Rustoleum to maintain continuity.:rofl2:

Welcome Powerwagon; as you can see, we have alot of Fox wagon fans on board.
Back in '83, while working for Garden State Ford in Watchung NJ and in charge of ordering the inventory, I speced out a gorgeous '83 LTD wagon as my demo, (the little one, not the full size Crown vic.) It was a cream colored Squire and I ordered every option you could get including the 302 V-8 and the Ford cast aluminum wheels. It was probably one of the most fully optioned wagons ever ordered. Unfortunately, I left the dealership for one on Staten Island a few days after the vehicle got delivered to us, so I never could take it as my own company car. I often wondered who bought it.
