He needs to join up here and get his RMW facts straight.
The LT-1 engine is not same LT-1 engine the Corvettes used.
The Corvette engine has aluminum heads and four bolt mains, has a little more horsepower.
Says the LT-1's were used from '92-'96, '94 -'96 in the Roadmasters Wagons, did start using them in Corvettes in '92.
I prefer the stylish and elegant OCC myself, everybody and their brother has a RMW.

I just received an email from Ralph and the reason that he didn't post after joining is that he says he received no confirmation email. Well.....I didn't even know one was required...LOL..
I PM'd Stef and hope that we can get Ralph in here and able to post ASAP. He says he likes the look of the forum......here's his email to me.....

Thanks for the heads up. I am a member of a couple of forums and applied for membership to stationwagonforums.com but have received no confirmation email. It looks like a great site if I can figure out how to get in!

    Hi Ralph,
Great article on the Roadies. You have wagonitis which is a good thing to have.
I am a moderator on stationwagonforums.com and invite you to please join up (free) and grace us with your presence. Love for these old behemoths is a wonderful thing and we would all be pleased to learn from you and share our knowledge and love for wagons with you. This online forum is filled with great people that share the common wagon bond and you will find a real camaraderie there that is absent on other car forums.
I would hope that you would visit us and, ultimately, become one of us.
Thanks again for the great wagon article and I hope to see you in the forum.

Thanks Cyber. Made for a real enjoyable read. Ralph seems to have the bug like the rest of us! That's so funny he had three of them at one time. For about a month about 12 years ago, I had an '86 Parisenne non woodie, an '86 Olds Custom Cruiser and a '91 Country Squire. Even I thought that was a bit much, so I sold the Olds and the Poncho. I eventually sold the Squire when we took the Colony Park in trade and have owned it ever since.
I hope Ralph joins us. He seems like he would make a great addition here.

When a member registers, an email is sent to them to confirm it, which helps cut down on spam. Sometimes the email gets caught as spam, which probably happened in this case. I confirmed his account and he may now posts. Great initiative on the invite :2_thumbs_up_-_anima
