User CP question

    How do I shut off the function that sends me an email notice everytime someone makes a post? ...... Bill Gates is gonna want to charge me for taking up too much cyberspace!!!

    I do "unsubscribe" but nada!

    .... and whilst on the subject, what does "CP" mean anyhow??

    Its easy "nut":

    1) Click "User CP"
    2) Click "Edit Options" on left side.
    3) Under "Messaging and Notification" change Default Thread Subscription mode to "no email notification"
    4) Click "save changes" at bottom of page.

    I just changed mine yesterday. CP is "control panel" btw.

    ------------We really didn't want you to "unsubscribe" anyway! I also turned the email thingie off when we went on vacation and just left it off. I still get the vintage scene picture notices though.

    The vintage thread ... I went to other sites and posted its link their ... dang nice.

    But, to answer Fannies question my e-mails of porn, dirty jokes and Urban Myth storys are very difficult to find with all these "wagon" e-mails blocking my screen .... it is a guy thing! LOL
