Jim68, excellent Mopar collection. HOw in the world do you decide which one to drive?! Continuing on the off topic topic, who can tell me who drove a '65 Coronet convertible on what tv show? I'll give you a hint. The car she drove before the Coronet was a '62 Sport Fury convertible.
Was it Jane Hathaway on the Beverly Hillbillies. Seem to remember many a convertible on there (Beverly Hills after all).
Winged one, you are absolutely correct! Congratulations. Try as I might, I couldn't find a pic of her 65 Coronet, just the 62 Sport Fury.
1st season-62 Sport Fury 2nd season-63 Polara 500 3rd season-64 Polara 500 4th, 5th, and 6th season-65 Coronet 500 7th season-68 Coronet 500 8th season-69 Coronet 500 9th season-70 Challenger always a red convertible.
And the banker Drysdale had a chaufferred Imperial. The Clampett's car/truck was a 1928 Olds I think? Don't remember seeing any wagons on the show? Anyone?
Nope, I don't remember any wagons at all. In fact, the only cars I do remember are Miss Hathaway's, Mr Drysdale's and, of course, the Clampett's old jalopy. Mrs. Drysdale, who'd you see occasionally, must've driven something, but I don't recall ever seeing it. I think we can rightfully assume Chrysler supplied all the vehicles.
I do think I remember the lady who was in charge of Jethro's school driving a Valiant wagon, it had the school name on the side of it although I can't remember the name. Anyone else have any info?
