Ok my wife and I have had this wagon for awhile now. And the wife works pretty hard at work and really isn't up to or in the mood to work on her car. She has somewhat lost interest in it and says she would be happy just to help me work on mine. So if we get rid of it we would like to know what it is worth.. It may take a bit of explaining but here it is. It was a 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser wagon. The roof was chopped in the front but the rear window was left stock. I am not sure how many inches were taken out of the windshield. The rear 2 doors were welded up making it a 2 door. Then all the windows were welded up. The body work was done pretty well. We hated the orginal paint scheme and thought it looked like a WWII warbird so we shot some OD green on it just to see how it would look and it came out decent and does look good this way we think. We were planning on a sharks mouth and bomber girl to add to the paint scheme. It needs a hood. The front bumper has been narrowed and tucked in. The rear bumper is all custom with LED tail lights. the interior is almost nonexistant. The seats are what we think are just generic racing style seats but are in good shape. It also has a leather Fiero steering wheel. It has new 18X8 wheels with 225/40's on the front and 245/40 BFG G-Force Sports that are brand new and have never seen the road. There is no engine at this time. Not sure If I should add one or not. And if I do I either buy a cheap SBC as that is the mounts that are on the car at present time. We were going to switch it to Olds power and have those clam shell mounts. But they are a pain to switch. It has a 2.5 inch true dual system. I think it is the most used one on G-bodys but forget the name. It also has the Jeg's crossmember for the tansmission. The transmission is a th350. I have been told by the person that made the car that it was worked but the car was sold to another party who took the engine that was in it. So not sure if they took the trans too. The wife never drove it hard to really know. The torque coverter does not look stock, but other than that I can't say. All I know is it is a bright blue color. The car does have a small crack in the windshield and does have 2 rust holes just below that above where the heater core is. But that is about it as far as problems. It will come with an aluminum radiator. I have other parts but I think it would benefit me to sell them off rather than just throw them in with the car. Not looking to finish the car. If it needs an engine to sell I can see doing that. But I could use some help determining what it is worth. It does have extensive body work done. And is quite the eye catcher and always gets looks and compliments where ever it goes. SO any help on pricing it if we do sell would be helpful, thanx.

Don't remember the details on it, but I recently saw another chopped wagon, similar to yours, recently for sale. (I believe it was a '78-'83 mid-sized Cutlass, but I'm not positive... - could have been a Malibu..)

    Try a CL search....

I like the wheels alot better, the ones that are on the car now.

I don't think I'm gona be of any real help on a $ value though. It is one of those cars that only a select few would be interested in. Maybe take into considerstion what you paid for it origonally and now minus a motor go from there.

Thought I should add some more pics. I also should add that at the moment the side windows are plexi and the window tracks are not right. As stated before there is no real interior.
