Oooh! I used to have one of those '65 Ford Fire Chief cars as a kid and I recall it looking just as played with. Nice scores!

That is the most unusual car photoshoot background I have ever seen. Wait till the Stars see this. They will install giant loaves of bread on all the model runways and in Hollyweed!:clap:PS-- fix that scratch before your wife sees what you did with one of those junky model cars!:slap:

I remember that Ford Truck. I think I still have the one my Dad got me when I was a kid. It came with a transparent yellow truck cap and a lion that mounted to the disk in the bed. When the truck was pushed it was supposed to look like the lion was walking in circles in the back. Even as a kid I used to wonder "just how big are we supposed to believe this truck is?"

Hope you like Brisk, thats what I pound back in the summer:p

Yeah, your rite about the lion and the yellow canopy, I have a yellow canopy one now minus the lion but as a kid I did have one with the clear canopy. It didn't work that well, the lion walking in circles

Before the above truck there was a dog truck, I had one as kid but it had the skinny fast wheels. I have one now from the swap meets, but no dogs with it.

I'd really like to find a complete one...

And before that, there was this Matchbox truck....

I had one like this with the tiny regular wheels...

I went to the swap meet today, but weather clearly kept alot of vendors away....rain on and off, so screw my plans for going to a car show.

But I did get these both for $1...

Blue Matchbox and white Huskey Studabaker wagons......

I just went and had a look at mine. It's been painted white. During my youth I was pretty annoyed that my ERTL Dukes of Hazzard set didn't come with Uncle Jesse's truck so my lion wagon got repainted white. Not sure what happened to the canopy or the lion. Strangely, my ERTL's are all still like new but some of those older (and nicer) Matchbox got sacrificed to my paint bench. Needless to say, I was REALLY crappy at painting and ultimately destroyed several really nice cars.

You've got weekly swap meets? That'd be sweet! The best we have are a flea market an hour away or the Antique Market in Aberfoyle which has all the same stuff, just marked up 150%.

Looks to me like that particular dog isn't feeling too well.
