    Hey Gang

Found this place via a post over on CarjunkieTV.com

I've got a '66 Crysler Town & Country waiting for it's turn to get restified. I rescued it a year or so ago from Demo Derby Doom. $360 on Fleabay, dragged it home a week later. It's got a 383 4bbl, 9 pass, GG1 Dark Sequoia Green, roof rack, black guts. Got a bit of rust and rot. Nothing that isn't repairable. Engine is stuck and the wireing is toast but she's "all there" Got a bunch of the original paperwork, dealer invoices, owners manual with the VIN, build sheet, temp reg, the works!

Here's a pic, the wheels and tires are on my '64 Chrysler 300 at present..

This is what she looked like the day I dragged her home from the tow yard.

Apparently, she had sat for 20 years after the engine quit. Mom got put in a rest home and the kids called the tow truck to "haul this POS outta here, we're selling off Moms stuff and house" (this, according to the yard owner)

:Welcome: Nice car. Welcome to the nut house. I even appreciate the Chrysler nuts even though I'm a Ford/Mercury nut.

I'll bet it's a great driver. We all will like to follow your fixin' activities as you go along. Please keep us posted on the progress.

Judging by the membership growth here and the wide range of wagons represented here I think wagons are the next thing in collectables and we'll see more 5 and 6 figure sales at the big auction houses in the future.

Wow, I never noticed your location. I live on Upjohn in Ridgecrest. I've also been trying to convince a local Falcon wagon owner to join. No luck yet. I'm pretty sure his is a 170 six equipped with a 3 on the tree. A very nice example that he drives daily.

I'm a retired "spring loaded tweet". AME. Good to almost meet ya.

Retired tin bender/bubble chaser here. I work for DS2/VX-31 now.

yeah, we gotta get the "Long Roof Legion" together and invade the April Fools bash on Balsam (if they still have it next year). There's a Dodge 880 Wagon and an older Ford running around too. I think you caught the Dodge at the Pow Wow....saw a pic in a post you made.
