As much as I like raised letter tires, I just never felt the "click" with my '73 Century with the letter tires on them. I have seen a fair amount of A body coupes with them and they look awesome. I already had two white wall tires waiting in my storage area and bought two Coopers today. I have also added the proper silver accent stripes to the grills (upper and lower). And polished out the front signal lenses with light grains of sandpaper from a model car polishing kit. It worked out very well. No more dull and hazy lenses. Found a Calif plate in the spare tire well....I suspect it belongs to her since the original registration is from the Golden State. That will be removed once I get the IL plates......
I think it looks great with white walls and I can relate, I really prefer the white wall look on my crewzer..... Thank you Tedy. Wes had a ride to the doggie doctor last week (grumpy tummy and kept scratching his ear). He seemed to like it after some major sniffing. I should have taken a picture then......he was very much at ease in the new wagon.
I think all dogs just need a magor sniff with a new ride....they like that new car smell weather it's old or new....I also think they pic up the "vibes"...your happy/realxed and they know it reflect it, you got a new toy. If memory serves, Wes is kinda getting up there in age (?), Our old man Kirb and his ears are on going, it's like washing the car, we have to regular clean his ears....we have found that with all our Sheps. Hope his tummy gets better...again with Kirb we at times cook rice and plain chicken just for him to get regular again (with a small amount of kibble). Hope Wes just has a canine cold
HA HA HA, yes dogs have to give their OK per car. Wes dose not at all like the Mustang, it's too small for him in the back seat. When he was a puppy, he chewed on the parking brake handle and a few safety belt buckles. Wes is now 6 ( I think......counts with hands). We has had grumpy tummy issues since I brought him home from college in 2008. He grew up the college life style, lots of people around to see and meet, always active, loved walks on campus, wagon rides in the '77 LTD....... I honestly believe he misses collage (as much as I do too) and has not totally taken in suburban life as well as I hoped. He still dose not like to run around in the yard by himself, he seems to hate the neighbor dogs, and always goes nuts (in a happy way) when someone in their late teens to early 20s drops by. :confused:
