    Hello-

Been a Ford guy forever; of course, that's cuz my dad was! Grew up in a '66 Country Squire: Black on red and wood all over... That was in Staten Island, NY, one of the boroughs of NYC, where in the winter, they salted first and checked the weather report later. That wagon completely lost it's front and rear quarter panels, and a good amount of the floor before it went to Yaccarino's Salvage to be turned into dinnerware.

My '72 is a one-owner, 40K no-rust rare find, though the paneling is most definitely showing its age. Need a few things for it, but it's nice overall.

It doesn't have a 3rd seat option, but I was able to pull the whole setup from a late seventies Merc; I might try to get it in there some day.

Hope to hear from y'all soon.

Thanks, 1T: I'll get some pics up soon. None of these cars are running at the moment. I need a gas tank/filler/straps for the '72 Squire, and I'm just about to buy a 390 for the Galaxie, which is otherwise pretty nice. The Mach, however, is a pile'o'parts, but I have most of the important ones.

    Always loved the pseudo-wood, pseudo-leather, tons-o-steel; I only wish my '63 Galaxie was a wagon! :(

Well, I've been to Canada, but grew up in NYC area and now live in NC. I've learned that the plural or y'all is all y'all. And in these parts, barbecue means vinegar-based sauce, which ain't too shabby. :thumbs2:

Anyway, nice looking Beaumont; cooler than a Nomad! :dancing:

Welcome, Dave. You're gonna like that '73.

The car of yours that I want to talk about though, is your '63 Galaxie. Got some very fond memories....

My dad's best buddy back in the late 50's / early 60's owned a spotless '57 Fairlane 500 - beautiful car. And unlike my dad, his cars were kept in pristine condition. When the '63's came out, he decided it was time for a new vehicle. Got a beautiful turquoise Galaxie 500XL 2-door hardtop (regular style, not the 63 1/2 'fastback type' roofline). My that was a beauty. 390 V8, cruise-o-matic, bucket seats.......

It was because of that car that I fell in love with that Ford turquoise.....

Some pics. Turned out the color was way off in a bunch of shots, so I just stripped out the color.:banghead3:

Rev- Thanks for the welcome note!

I LOVE your Bermuda! Also, the '68 Falcon, especially with a white interior, is an awesome find! I never really liked the Falcon coupe from that era , but the wagon's always been one of my favorites. I wouldn't want to mess one up, but I've often wondered how it would look if the Mustang front sheet metal & door skins were grafted on. It wouldn't be super easy, but not that hard given that they have the same lineage.

About the Keystones: Yeah, those old Keystones are nostalgic. Funny that you have em on the '63 Gal, since that's where my set came from: they were on my '63 when I bought it (yep, same wheels, just swapped onto each car at the time the pics were taken). Not sure what I'll do for wheels on the Squire; I have a sweet set of 17" Konig Villians

and also a set of '05 Mustang GT 17s.

I just may keep the Keystones on the Gal after all. I'll have to see what looks best on each of the cars as I get 'em on the road.
