Very nice and sunny weather (72F) brought over 1,000 US cars to the first big US car meeting this year near Amsterdam. Tha Wagons: Sharp 72 Olds: A few more wagons are hidden within this folder: http://s1134.photobucket.com/albums/m615/Harry-Clamshell/KC April 2011/?start=all Enjoy!
Dang, Rob! I should've been there with the Buick! That's some nice cars out there Do you have any information on sites/forums that 'spread the word' for US car meetings? It sure was some good weather around that date, hope it comes back soon, been a bit of a let down the last couple of days.
Very nice weather; I took the Cat this time: For US cars visit: www.amerikaanseautopagina.com (aka AAP or Monkey board ) For US car meetings in our coutry (and just across the border): http://www.v8meetings.nl/?p=p_2&sName=agenda-2011 (as you may notice: every weekend there is least one big US carshow; that is how I will spent my weekends during this summer) The monthly episode of the King's Cruise (near Amsterdam) and Saturday Night Cruise (The Hague) are the ones that gets most attention and visitors with their cars
I noticed in the attachment that there are a few folks there that considered economy when they got their cars. A Ford Falcon wagon and a Nash Metropolitan. The rest of the cars are gargantuan compared to the everyday cars there.
I think that is the main reason for us Europeans to mainly choose for full size US cars in stead of smaller ones (like GM A bodies) ... we have enough small cars here. Compared to meetings/carshows in the US, here you will find the majority is full sized.
Thanks for the info Rob! I'll be attending some meetings soon You Cat sure looks good. Matter of fact, all your cars look immaculate!
