Holy crap! Seems like a real project just to post a pic here! I was under the impression that it would require nothing more than a click to insert the pic into a post. Like we do from our own puters. That was easy. I still can't figure why we can't keep posting from our own pic archives????:confused:I think Stef addressed why once but it was brief and I didn't get it.

If you're talking about Freepoft in Erie county PA, I'm about 45 min from there. There is somebody on this board looking at a car for me that's pretty far away and I'd be happy to repay the favor to you. I'm in Jamestown, NY 14701. LMK if I can help.
seven16 six six1 3166. May even do it tonite if the rain holds back. I'm bored. I need something to do.

Yeah, KK. But 3 times the money and we don't see the under side. The seats are not good at all and it shows other wear when I see the pix he sent by email. I would buy the car but not for anywhere near that money. You can still get nice, rust free Subarus like I want in the Northwest for a thousand bucks and under. This one is wearing a nice coat and looks good. Not so great when you look a little further. And, I'm not so sure that this car hasn't been repainted. Or at least re-clear coated. The seller is a pro and may say he got full price when it is sold. I don't think he will get that money no matter what he says. These cars just aren't going for that kind of money. They do go higher in the rust belt but he is still pushing it IMO.

Yeah, fggn.(y) There is a following for this car....cult like....but one of the reasons is they are cheap for what you get in the 4WD category. They are great cars in a lot of ways but have their faults as well. Your comment regarding the price is closer to reality and I am saying that it will be under that.:D Even though this is a low mile car.

Fox, did they always sit that high in the rear? I thought the last one I saw sat fairly level, high for a car, but not the rear end altitude of this one. Or maybe it was just age sag, like I'm told I'm experiencing:D

Yup ... they do sit that way, Saf. My brand new 82 came that way and stayed that way from the factory.

Humph, shows what I know about Subie's, doesn't it . I think the last one I saw, in Bellingham, WA, was a 2 wheel drive maybe? And a bit newer. I think I may have posted the pic on here at the time.
