Yes Fox, it still is the one to find (even if Iknow it as well as KK, remember your words "Oh, sure, barto.....make us suffer some more" :tiphat:)

    C'mon boyzzz !
A stunning pet hearse, English, rear engineered, supplied also as a van, a 2 doors saloon with rear openable windows used as a hatch, and in coupé version...
The engine is a surprising one. Used first as a stationnary engine for water pumps, it was developed to be used in F2 and even F1 (IIRW)
This little car, in the saloon version, was very sharp and make very good results in racing.

    Hi Fox,
Bright suny day in Belgium, but freezing. And don't try to change of subject, naughty boy. :rofl2:
Lotus made use of the same engine. Many English makes did to fit sports cars but the one you're looking for was one of the only one to use it in a saloon...

Ask the girls, they hold in their hands the first and last later of the makes name :dancing:

    Is this a boxer engine?

OMG, time and weather are bad friends (same word in french: "le temps")! Soooo, it's 4 PM if you do prefer, and it's a bright sunny (but freezing) day.

Not a boxer, straight but very inclined (and don't tell me it's not american English, I'll not care )

    Here it is

I'm confused as heck now that I see the engine on a slant....almost looks like an Offy.

The saloon was the Hillman IMP, the wagon was the Hillman HUSKY, and the coupé was the Hillman CALIFORNIAN. These cars were sold under other makes, ie the Singer CHAMOIS.

    Production from 63 to 76
