    More than that!
VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche they all share lots of parts (engines, gear boxes, chassis, etc, etc)
The VW holding is like a Meccano box with engineers playing like children in mixing all the stuff to make new toys.

I think Barto really enjoyed this one since it left Fox's head spinning and left David contemplating his navel. Glad someone else got it. I was running out of ideas for clues.

Funny thing is if you should post American cars i'll be lost

About the Seat, I didn't knew this model as I have nearly no interest for cars of today, but the logo was regognizable...

Strange and ugly car this little blue hearse!
The saloon version (2 doors with a funy openable rear window) and the coupé were fitted with a rear engine. But the derivated wagon was fitted with a front engine !

Yeah - I couldn't quite figure that one out. How did they design a vehicle that could have either a front or a rear engine? And the front ends all look the same.......

"Crazy English engineers" could be an answer to your question KK

    Edit:
The answer is: wrong info from a stupid web site !
Both the wagon and the saloon were rear engine mounted
"The van isn't just a windowless estate, it was redesigned - one of the criteria being that it had to be tall enough to transport milkchurns. The body is extended over the engine bay which results in a high floor, which in turn necessitated a high roofline. (How tall does a milkchurn stand ?) The total loading capacity was 70 cu. ft. (2m³). The floor was flat and the rear loading door was top-hinged."

There is no way that guy with those pants and that long nose hair has any chance of getting anywhere with that girl.
(that is nose hair isn't it?)
