Yesterday, I went to see a '78 Colony Park in Oklahoma. I flew into Tulsa and rented a car, and drove a little under two hours north and west to see it. It's a nice wagon, but I don't think it's for me. But it might be for someone here. The wagon runs good, has bad brakes...master cylinder most likely. Has a short or something draining the battery, but otherwise is pretty dang good. Needs freshening up with paint and woodgrain, and the headliner need repair. A super nice guy named Jeff owns it and is asking $1250.00 for it. I have this in the general discussion section, because I am mainly just telling about a neat wagon I saw, but if this looks like something someone here wants, let me know and I will get in touch with the owner. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima David
Here's a fun wagon I saw on my excursion to OK yesterday. It is in a little, and I do mean little town out in the middle of nowhere. This little turbo T&C has cream Mark Cross leather, but manual windows. It clearly hadn't moved in a while, but I may try to find out more about it. David
Love the interiour in the Colony....do you mind if I ask why you chose no for a buy?... I noticed the head liner and some other "it's been used flaws" but...? That little k-Car New Yorker would be neet with the Turbo, I have to say though the passenger side with the factory alum wheels looks a heck of alot better than the rivers side with the 90's drug store plastic wheel covers.
I need a daily driver, and was hoping this would be good for that, but it would need a little more work than I was wanting to do right now. But it is a pretty good example. It's all there, runs good, and the body and interior are in great shape...and the price is more than fair. David

A Mark Cross with roll ups?? Is it for sale? Does it have digital dash? What year is it? 2.2 Turbo? Mileage? Rusty? I like these wagons and MAY be interested.
Hey Foxy, I stopped and looked at this very briefly, and took these pics, because I was on my way to see the Mercury. and I was kind of lost and in a hurry. I passed it and actually made a u-turn to go back and take the pics. I don't know if it was for sale, but I would guess it could be had. I might be able to get the guy that owns the Mercury to go look at it, and find out more. (or I could maybe make another trip up there to check it out) It didn't look like it had bad rust problems, and though pics usually make a car look better than it really is, this thing seemed quite nice. The interior looked good, except it had a bunch of junk in the back, and some wear on the driver's seat. No idea on miles or mechanical condition. David
I talked with my friend Jeff in OK about the cute little T&C, and he burst my bubble! Turns out, it is owned by a crazy lady that thinks it is worth $2500! It's been sitting in the same spot for at least 6 years, and probably will be there for 6 more. David
Bummer. I ran into a crazy lady like that that owns a Subie I would like to buy. No dealing with wackos.
dementia is a terrible thing ain't it? 6 years ago, when it was first parked...and probably didn't have rodents and snakes living in it, Or was sunk to the sub frame in mud, it may have been worth 2500.
