Snow suit. Now THERE'S a phrase I haven't heard in YEARS! You may be showing your age with that one, Cliffy. Man....it does bring back memories, though. When I was a little kid they didn't have all the fancy down filled clothing and fleece etc. We had snow suits. Made of wool and so thick that you couldn't move in them! It always looked like it would be fun to go out and play in a fresh 2 foot snowfall and my mom would have to dress me in tons of clothes and then the snow suit, boots' mittens, hat, scarf around the face, etc, etc. I could hardly move! If someone knocked you over you laid in the snow like a turtle on its back until your mom spotted you and came out and stood you upright again! Looking back, I feel sorry for what I put my mom through. She would take 20 minutes getting me dressed warm to go outside and I would want to come back in in 5 minutes. It had a little to do with the cold and a LOT to do with the fact that you couldn't MOVE. Still.....those were the days.
I remember that. No sooner has mom got you all dressed and ready you have to pee. I also brings meaning to "I've fallen and can't get up".
I'm glad that picture disappeared, And glad I was able to put my kids through that torture when they small
