Does anyone make rust repair panels for the 90s GM wagons. In need of one for the right rear quarter panel adjacent to the spare tire well.

Nope. Good used panels are your only option.

    Hey 89 Safari

I am in the same boat as you. My 87 Safari was a little rusty. Check out my threads in the introduce yourself and in this section. Yes the parts are hard to find but any of the b-body quarters will work. I made my quarter panel patch out of my old Camaro door skin. I would think that even the sedan quarters would work except for the spare tire relief since the spare tire goes right behind the rear seat. If you find more rust under the carpets the mid nineties Roadmaster floors would work. Go and ask any of the wreckers or garages or tow truck places if they have any leads on one. That is where I found some parts.

I'll have to go cruiser's route and fab one up. I've got the records with the car and a dealer the guy dealt with supposedly fixed it at one time. Looks like they charged him $185.00 to slap some bondo in it.

Be aware that all the 1977-1990 B-body wagons use the Chevrolet sheet metal from the firewall back. As an example, the Olds sedans have a feature line that runs from front to back about 3" down from the window sills. The Custom Cruiser does not have this line since it uses Chevy doors and quarters. The bottom of the quarters may or may not have the same contour between the sedans and wagons on non-Chevy B-bodies.

    Hello again!

If it is a patch that you need I would fab it up. If it is a larger piece like the entire quartert hen I would put the word out that you are looking for a donor car or one at a parts yard that has a quarter that is in good shape. Bring a sazzall and spend the 5 or 6 hours to liberate the panel for your ride. You might need to use a oxy acetelene torch to liberate some sections but you will get it out. Someone somewhere will have a donor or a parts car for you.
