    Okay, I give up. How in the world did that Rambler wagon get in the middle of the river? It doesn't look banged up at all, so I would think flood waters didn't do it. It's clearly not a 4X4 and no way could it have been driven that far into the river, no matter how drunk its driver may have been. Any ideas?

    Well after 252 pages I just have to say this is the best thread I've ever seen. I love old pictures anyway but this many old pics of wagons and other cool cars is awesome! Thank you to everyone who has contributed these great glimpses in to Americana. Please keep them coming!

    This picture was taken somewhere in Massachusetts in 1956.
    See the election posters for Furbush on the left wall.He was president of the Mass.Senate between 1951 to 1956.
    He lost to Edward Cronin.
    Furbush was the last Mass. Republican to be in the Senate.
