1964 Acadian Beaumont Custom Wagon. Acadians were actually their own brand, sold thru the Canadian Pontiac, Buick, GMC Vauxhall dealerships but mistakenly everyone refers to them as Pontiacs. When trying to list this car on this forum it did not allow me to list as an Acadian but it did offer Acadian as a model of Pontiac. It shares most of its DNA with the Chevy Malibu but has unique-to-the-Acadian trim and a Pontiac Tempest dash!
Anyway this is a super rare car, only 251 Beaumont Customs were built in 1964, Almond Fawn Metallic exterior paired with a documented red interior: an combination not even shown on the dealer listing but none the less available if ordered.
The car is at our Florida home currently. Fun to show as most southerners have no idea Acadians existed so we get to spend lots of time taking about it!
