The hard part here,is going to be;finding the rest of that front end.:(Good luck with that.:) And it runs!..Isn't that the whole idea? :) YEAH!!! Trailer queens are okay,I guess:confused:,but nothing beats actually cruising in your age old classic.:) Even if some of it is missing.

      Taranau,
I actually have the front grille/bumper assembly. There is one picture where the car is parked on the street before being loaded onto the trailer, you can see it on the ground beside the car. I'm gping to be pulling the motor in the next few weeks and replacing ALL the gaskets, as I just don't want to deal with endless leaks. While it is apart, I will inspect the bearings/rings etcetera.... It actually "only" has 80K on the odometer. I have no idea how durable the Poly motors are, but I guess I'll find out...

Well,it's good you have the front end then.I've seen too many(and it really wasn't that many, but too many none-the-less)where there was a 4X4 board for a bumper and/or part of a shopping cart or a barbecue grille for "the grille".It's(not really amazing)stupifying what some people do to their cars...And it's good you're going to go the full route on the engine.Don Garlitz was on a Super chevy Show once, explaining his first engine rebuild. He and his brother did it.It was something they rushed thru and didn't do like they really should have, and it lasted only about 35,000 miles...A mentor of mine had this pearl of wisdom "Any damn fool can go fast, but a wise man takes the time to do things right." Do this one right...
